How to Learn the Fake ID Line Dance Fast
So you want to learn the Fake ID Line Dance Fast and are tired of waiting and tired of the struggle of trying to do it right. Well you’ve come to the right place. Read all the way through this article first before you attempt to learn so you get an idea of the process of how I recommend you learn this Line Dance. One of the biggest things about this Line Dance is the fact that it’s very hard and actually an advanced level line dance compared to any other line dances you would see at the Country Bar. So you have to put some work into it to learn it but if you are looking to learn it faster than any other method I’ve put a lot of thought into how to learn it quickly and from my understanding this is the quickest way to learn the Line Dance.
-
First you need to know is that the dance is broken into 4 Parts.
Part A(32 Counts) starts at the beginning of the song where they say “Hey” in the lyrics, but it also starts at the beginning of every verse in the song. That sound is a que in the song. So when Big and Rich sing that Particular Part which is at the beginning of the verse they either say “Hey” or a “No”. So, those words are the que’s for starting Part A of the line dance in the song.
Part B(16 Counts) of the line dance is the Part where they take the first step back on the right foot just after the Part where you slap your leg or “bootay!” as they put it. This Part B starts at the beginning of every pre-chorus in the song.
Part C(4 Counts) of the line dance is the Part where they walk backwards in the circle really quickly to the buildup Part of the song. This happens at the tale end of every pre-chorus just after the Part where they sing “You know I gotta get it.”
Part D(16 Counts) or the “tag” as I would call it in the dance starts at the Part where they hop and do the “out in out” Part with their feet. It’s just after the Part where they say “you rock it out, 5, 6, 7, hop 8” and then on 1 you start with the “out in out” Part and continue from their until you do leg slapping or slapping your butt. Part D is done during the bridge of the song. So when you hear the bridge where the music changes just before they sing “Here’s my money, now get out of my way…” that’ where you start Part D.

The Second thing is start by learning Part A to Memory
-
Start out by just learning Part A only. Once you learn Part A start trying to do it by memory and once you learn it by memory then the next thing you want to do is…
-
-
Learn Part C to Memory
-
Part C is really easy to learn it’s just 4 counts long. As you finish this move finish it facing the front wall every time you do it. “Front Wall” is the wall you are facing when you started the Line Dance.

Learn Part A & C Together in the Song
-
Once you learn these two Parts(A & C) start to practice doing only these two Parts in the song. You can see where you start and do these Parts at the bottom of the page. The trick to learning this line dance quicker is to do it in little steps. If you try to do the whole dance at once to the song it’s going to take longer. So the idea with just doing these two Parts is that you have some time to break in between Parts because when you are learning it you will be sweating and working really hard to keep up with the music. It’s very overwhelming to people if you try to do all Parts at once. So just start out by doing the 2 Part A’s back to back at the beginning of the song during the first two verses and on the 2nd verse start at the new wall that you end up facing at the end of the 1st verse and do the 2nd Part A. The exact wall you start the 2nd verse to be more specific is the wall to your left of the front wall. Repeat this process in Verses 3 and 4. And then when Part B starts in the pre-chorus take a break! Wait til Part C starts. When Part C starts do it and then do Part A which is right after it and then when you eventually hit Part B then take a break again until you hit Part C and then repeat the process down to the end of the song.

Learn Part B to memory then to the Song
-
After mastering those first two Parts then learn Part B and do it to memory. Once you have learned it to memory then start to do it in the song alone to the Parts where Part B is according to this webpage. Notice that the Melo-Chorus has two Part B’s back to back as well. Once you can hear where Part B is everywhere in the song and do it to the music then you can move on to the next step.

Learn Part D to the Song
-
Once you’ve been able to master Part B to the song then do Part D. This Part is a little difficult because you have to be able to hear where the bridge starts in the song. What I recommend people to do is learn where the bridge of the song is and start to do Part D at the start of the bridge and repeat the process over and over until you have it memorized. Once you’ve memorized it then try to do it with Parts A and C to the song. And if you feel confident enough you can combine all Parts together at this step as well but, we’ll say that combining is the last step here.

Combine all Parts A, B, C, D and do them all to the Song

The very last thing to learn is really simple just finish the entro in Part B at the Clapping Point.
